Die 1000. Band im White Pig, unglaublich aber wahr und dann auch noch The Atomic Bitchwax!

The Atomic Bitchwax are a rock band formed in the mid 1990s by Chris Kosnik of Atlantic Records &qout;Godspeed&qout; and Ed Mundell of A&M Records &qout;Monster Magnet&qout; both from Long Branch, New Jersey. The band s first two albums, I and II, had a heavy psychedelic sound with roughly half of their songs containing only minimal vocals and the rest were instrumental.

As the band s sound has progressed over the last 10+ years, a more traditional song writing approach was slowly realized by incorporating the band s signature &qout;boxriff technique&qout; with the KosnikñRyan dual vocal harmonies throughout their last three releases &qout;TAB3, Boxriff and TAB4″. The band also continues to tour live in North America and Europe for the last decade covering 15 countries. In 2003 Finn Ryan of Atlantic Records Core replaced Mundell on guitar and in 2007 welcomed Bob Pantella (currently of Monster Magnet on drums following the &qout;Boxriff&qout; tour in late 2006. Kosnik and the current lineup completed recording the next full-length titled TAB 4 at &qout;Trax East Studios&qout; in South River N.J. for the fall 2009 release on Tee Pee Records Records. . .

alles begann ca. im Fr¸hling 2006, als sich Igor Naumenko, heutiger Erlichmann(Gitarre) und Martin &qout;Palle&qout; Palesch(Drums) in dem Proberaum der Moneybags trafen und begannen este Riffs und Melodien zu improvisieren. Im Sommer dann kam Bassist Frank Kell mit ins Boot, der hatte zu vor bei Scapegoat gespielt und sammelte dort ebenfalls erste Erfahrungen. Ein halbes Jahr sp‰ter, d.h vor einem Jahr kam Elias Riedel dazu. Er zupfte zuvor ebenfalls die Gitarre bei Scapegoat und besch‰ftigt sich jetzt mit dem Mikro. Somit war die Band komplett und das gerocke konnte losgehen. Von Probe zu Probe wurden die Songs einstudiert und verbessert. Bis wir dann im August 2006 unseren ersten Auftritt im White Pig zusammen mit den US-Amerikanern von Disengage hatten. Im Oktober 2007 verlies jedoch Palle die Band aus zeitlichen Gr¸nden und Marcus Krause alias &qout;Kruse&qout; wechselte hinter die Drums, welcher vorher bei Orange Dodge gesungen hat und Schlagzeug spielte.
